HID headlights not working right

Got this 2021 Navigator L with adaptive HID headlights, and recently I got a 'check headlight system see manual' message along with a code for a General Swivel failure in the HCM. After consulting with some local mechanics they thought my headlights might be dead, so I bought a replacement set but Im still facing the same issue.. Everything works except the HID bulb and the ballasts are fine. I'm wondering if the module might have failed but I cant find any info on its location. Tryna avoid the dealer's high prices, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

probably a module issue to me, but I get not wanting to drop cash at the dealer. Check under the front fender area or near the headlight assembly; that's usually where the control modules hide. If you've already ruled out the bulb and ballast, check connections and wiring too.

Another buddy of mine said the same thing, it really must be the module. Thanks for the instruction, will def check it out. Cheers

Have you checked if the HCM is already toast? It's pretty common for that to happen. I saw that you replied to a previous comment so I am assuming it's fixed now? How much did it all cost you? Because I know for sure that isn't cheap.

I totally understand wanting to avoid those dealer prices, they can be pretty steep. It might be a good idea to check out salvage yards or eBay for a reliable replacement. I hope you get it figured out soon!
