Wiper problem

Not sure if this fits here. Bought a 2023 Lincoln Navigator L last month and noticed light chattering during drizzle. Are the factory wiper arms out of alignment on delivery?

I've got a 2023 Navigator myself, and I haven't noticed any chattering with mine, even in light drizzle. It sounds like yours might have a slight issue. It's not uncommon for minor things like wiper arm alignment to be off a touch from the factory, or even for a blade to have a tiny defect.

Before you go trying to adjust anything yourself, I'd honestly just swing it by the dealership. They should be able to check it out quickly and fix it under warranty. Better to let them handle it while it's new!

I took your advice and scheduled a visit with the dealership service center last week. They found no issues with the arm alignment but ultimately replaced the factory wiper blades under warranty. That completely resolved the chattering issue for now.

Light chatter in drizzle is pretty common, even on new cars, it's not always alignment. Sometimes it's just the factory blades glazing up or not making full contact in lighter rain
