So, I've got a bit of a frustrating situation with my seat massage feature. It completely gave out on me, and after taking it to the dealer, they managed a quick fix. But guess what? That only lasted a day before it bailed on me again. Now they're telling me that the whole massage module needs to be replaced, and it's been stuck on backorder for weeks

Has anyone else dealt with something like this? How long did it take for your replacement to arrive? I'd love to hear your stories, any tips or advice would really help me out

That sucks. Did the dealer give you an ETA, or just a vague "it's coming"? Maybe you can try calling other dealers to check for stock.

I think seat massage features are gimmicks more than essentials, overengineered luxuries that break too easily. Automakers should focus on durable basics instead of stuffing cars with fragile tech no one misses until it fails

My brother had a similar situation with his driver's seat a couple years back, not the massage module itself. The dealer said they're "re-calibrating" and it lasted maybe a week, and then they eventually said the whole seat bottom cushion had to be replaced! My brother was on them constantly. It took almost a month before the part arrived!

It was definitely inconvenient so I'd advice you to be really patient and polite but also persistent! Ask them if they can check other dealers' inventory, or if there's any way to expedite the shipping. Sometimes they can work a little magic if you stay on them!

My dad's own took about six weeks to finally show up, just try have the dealer keep checking stock updates, sometimes parts get released in small batches
