Navigator blinkers & lights acting possessed

I have this 2014 Navigator, only 41k miles. Turn signals started going nuts like the right one is stuck on to the point I had to flip the left on to cancel it. Ford said it's the switch, so I had it replaced but no change at all.

Then, I went to the dealer and they said it's the smart junction box. Swapped it, too, and now there is no random blinkers. BUT both sides blink fast unless hazards are on.

Already replaced bulbs and checked wiring. Could it still be the new junction box? Or something deeper? Kinda over it, but not ready to give up yet. I know my bike is old but I want to keep it.

Since the new junction box didn’t fully fix it, maybe its a wiring issue or a bad ground somewhere? Also are you sure the bulbs you replaced are the correct type and wattage? Sometimes that can cause the fast blinking.

I've been through something similar with my Navigator. If both sides are hyper-flashing but your hazard lights work perfectly, chances are it's a load detection problem linked to the Smart Junction Box. Even if you've got new bulbs, issues like bad grounds or dirty sockets can mess things up.

I'd recommend checking all the turn signal grounds and giving those sockets a good clean. It could also be useful to swap the left and right bulbs just to eliminate the possibility of a faulty one on either side. If everything looks good there, you might want to scan the SJB settings using Forscan, sometimes they need to be reprogrammed after being replaced.

Don't give up on it just yet, 41K miles isn't even close to the end of its life
